Hundreds of youth and school children on Thursday made a beeline to have a glimpse over the scientific samples displayed at the 55th Gora Science Exhibition at Atheist Center in Benz Circle.

The three-day expo inaugurated on Wednesday is a collection of images, charts and working models demonstrating principles of various branches of science.

Medical exhibits comprising soft parts of the human body and also dissected full body exhibited by Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College and the Vasavya Nursing Home created great inquisitiveness among people from various walks of life.

It was rare opportunities for the students to have a look at the internal organs of the humans. A scientific sample displaying the procedure how cigarette smoking leaves smoke deposits on lungs was one attracted the students.

Major Institutions like Siddhartha Engineering College and Potti Sriramulu Engineering College have displayed samples on environment, energy conservation, canal top solar plant, hydrogen power, energy saving solutions, solar bottle bulb, invitro fertilization, rainwater harvesting and industrious termites.

The three day Science Exhibition will come to an end on Friday with the valedictory function to be held at 3 pm on the Atheist Center premises, according to Gora Science Centre director G Niyanta.
