The party would start the programme in the remaining four Assembly segments from Thursday, he added.

Speaking to media persons, Venkata Rao said that the party leaders and cadre across these segments were helping the officials collect grievances of the people. This would help the administration complete the process of visiting almost every house and meet the people, he added.

He further said that the party national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in the programme on December 3 at Denduluru in West Godavari district, December 7 in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram and on December 11 in Chittoor.

Venkata Rao took a dig at the main opposition party in the State, YSR Congress, for not showing interest in collecting the grievances of the people making use of the programme.

He said that the party and its leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy were not interested in knowing and addressing the peoples’ problems. He sought to advise the YSR Congress leaders to be part of the programme and try to understand and address the problems of the people in the State.
