With heavy downpour of rains lashing out in several areas of Tamil Nadu and Nellore districts, the people affected in these regions are still struggling to get their lives back to track.
As the overflowing Swarnamukhi and Kalindi rivers are crossing above the danger levels, several villages in the district are submerged under water. The people of Sullurpet area are still stranded with their houses flooded with water and are waiting for their lives to return to normalcy. While the people stated that many officials including the MLA have visited the villages but the relief measures are still not reaching everyone and added that their lives are still out of gear.
