Key performance indicators help Vignan get ‘A’ grade

Visakhapatnam: As part of government’s categorisation of engineering colleges in the State basing on the key performance indicators into A, B, C and D, Vignan’s Institute of Information and Technology, Duvvada secured ‘A’ grade, according to the college principal Alies Mary.

She said with the international level teaching, research, infrastructure and discipline, the college has secured the recognition. Chairman of Vignan Group of Educational Institutions Lavu Rattaiah congratulated principal Alies Mary, Chief Executive Officer K Pavan Krishna, teaching and non-teaching staff for the recognition.

Meanwhile, Mechanical Engineering student K Lokesh Chaitanya and IT student S Tejeswi were given away gold medals in recognition of their academic excellence by the JNTU-K in its fifth convocation.
