Visakhapatnam: Rashtrapathi Bhavan has confirmed the visit of President Pranab Mukherjee to the city to attend the International Fleet Review on the third day on February 6.
An advance liasoning team comprising three officials would be arriving here on December 7. After staying here for three days and interacting with the local officials, they leave for New Delhi on December 9. The team consisting of Brigadier Rajat Dutta, a medical specialist, group captain Sanjeev Sethi, deputy military secretary to the President and Lieutenant Commander Rakesh Yadav, ADC to the President.
The President will review the Fleet on February 6 from INS Sumitra, naval Offshore Patrol Vessel which has been converted into Presidential yacht. In the evening, the President will attend the band concert of the Naval Central Band. His programme would end with the Presidential banquet to be held at the Eastern Naval Command Mess Lawns.
