Nellore: Krishnapatnam Port sent 10,000 food packets and emergency medicines to Chennai city once again by helicopter for supporting relief activities on Friday.
CVR Foundation of the Krishnapatnam Port is also organising medical camps in Chennai with their teams of doctors. Krishnapatnam Port Chief Executive Officer Anil Yendluri said the medicines are sufficient for 10,000 people.
Port officials said that they would dispatch more food material and medicines for next two to three days till water recedes in the city. Chief Operating Officer Subbarao and others were present.
