Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank is planning to set up a branch in Hyderabad to take its branch net work in Telangana to three, according to bank chairman Ch Raghavendra Rao.
Rao said that it was also planned to open branches in Kadapa and Kurnool also, while permission from the RBI is being awaited to open a branch at Mangalagiri.
He claimed that the bank has been functioning very successfully since its formation in 1916 and hence, it was growing with customers’ goodwill. Bank Chief Executive Officer Narasimha Murty was also present.
