Srikakulam: Heavy rush of devotees was witnessed at Sri Mukhalingam Temple at Sri Mukhalingam in Jalumuru mandal on Sunday.

As it was last Sunday of auspicious Karthika Masam and Ekadasi, devotees thronged at the famous Lord Shiva temple Sri Mukhalingam for darsan.

Police have made security arrangements and temple committee and endowment officials provided facilities to devotees for their hassle-free darsan.

Sri Mukhalingam is a famous Shiva Kshethram where three temples are situated viz Sri Mukhalingeswara, Someswara and Bhimeswara, the other forms of Lord Shiva. “We have provided prasadam, water and medical facilities to the devotees and managed queue lines systematically,” said the temple executive officer (EO), NV Ramanayya. “We are expecting more rush of devotees on Monday as it is last Monday of the auspicious Karthika Masam,” the EO added.
