Guntur: District Collector Kantilal Dande instructed departmental officers in the district to apply their minds on making necessary arrangements for the forthcoming Krishna Pushkaralu scheduled for August.
Addressing a review meeting on pushkaralu at his chambers here on Sunday, he asked the endowments department officials to identify the number of bathing ghats in the Krishna river coast located in the district from Vijayapuri to Murthy Thota.
He advised officials to identify the number of ghats and make arrangements for their repairs and revival. He asked them to prepare reports on the suggested works that should be taken up in the next six months for gearing up the departments for the pushkaralu.
