Andhra Pradesh State Film, TV and Theatre Development Corporation is keen to promote theater activity in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh State Film, TV and Theatre Development Corporation is keen to promote theater activity in Andhra Pradesh. As a part of it, this year Nandi Natakotsavam is planned to be conduct in Tirupati in the month of January of the coming year.
The office is also set up in Vijayawada, present capital of Andhra Pradesh to have access with all cultural organisations. It was learnt that 199 entries have been received for four categories like Padya natakalu, Plays, Play lets and Children play let. Apart from these plays, books on theatre works were also submitted for the Nandi award.
It was also learnt that most of the entries were received from Andhra Pradesh and Telugu teams from other states have also sent their entries
The scrutinies are scheduled to start from 15 of this month. The scrutinies will be held throughout Andhra Pradesh and also in Hyderabad. It is planned to announce the final list on 31stof this month.
