FIITJEE, Vijayawada has announced that an all India level talent test titled ‘FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam’ (FTRE) will be held on December 27 for the high school students from across the State in 10 centers. The test will be held for the aspirants of JEE and IIT to assess their knowledge and capacity at a national level.

Addressing the newsmen here on Friday, Center Head Ramesh Babu P said, “FIITJEE has embarked upon an initiative that enables both children and parents to learn the ability of the candidate such that they can make a decision in choosing the right courses. The test will make the candidates aware of their performance and that of the others through transparent evaluation methods, online.

Cash rewards, fee deduction will be offered for meritorious students depending on the benchmark set by the deciding panel across the country. A special one week orientation class will be organised at the FIITJEE branch in the city for all the candidates who will appear for the examination.”

He further added that the test will be held at more than 100 centers at a time in the country where nearly one lakh candidates from classes 7 to 10 will take part. Upon recommendation from schools or other organisations, a few candidates will be allowed to take the examination for free. Applications for the test are available at the campus, he said.

About the College’s initiative on teaching approach, he said that they are implementing the concept of Engage, Explore and Encourage so as to deal with student of all capacities. The center in Vijayawada post bifurcation has been upgraded to suit the requirement of high end classes, making it the most result oriented one, said Ramesh Babu.
