The farmers are not willing to part with the lands and are planning to stage a protest in front of the Metro Rail office opposing the land acquisition for the Metro Rail depot at Nidamanuru. Earlier, protests have taken place against land acquisition for Metro Rail but they were called off after local MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi assured the farmers to render justice. The farmers are now gearing up with the preparations to stage a Dharna protesting against the land acquisition.
