KCR not to attend the southern zonal council meet

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will not be attending the Southern Zonal Council meet that is to be held on Saturday in Vijayawada. Instead of KCR, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, Ministers Nayini Narsimha Reddy and Etela Rajender, Special Chief Secretary Pradeep Chandra have been deputed to attend the meet.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh would be presiding over the southern zonal council meet that would be attended by Chief Ministers of AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Pondicherry. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with officials welcomed Rajnath Singh at the Gannavaram airport who reached Vijayawada after offering prayers at Tirumala.
