Chandrababu: Nirbhaya act to be invoked in Call money scam

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday who participated in the Collectors meeting in Vijayawada stated that the AP government is committed to render justice to all the victims of the call money scam and added that all the culprits in the case would be severely punished.

Addressing Collectors conference, Chandrababu instructed the police to invoke the Nirbhaya Act against the offenders if a woman complaints against the culprits behind the scandal and also not to hesitate to take action against the people involved in the case irrespective of their prominence.

Asking the collectors of the district to take up the responsibilty of dealing with the culprits in the scandal, the Chief Minister said that Call money scandal and adulterated liquor were damaging the image of the new capital city of AP.

Chandrababu assured that the government would adopt modern technologies in order to prevent corruption and crime in the state, further stating that any aberration in the state will not be tolerated.
