Speaking on the occasion, he said that every human being has three stages in life in which youth is very crucial where they need to concentrate on their future with a goal and have to strive for achieving it.

He inaugurated the district-level youth festival on Sunday at Kasturba Kalakshetra in the town. Speaking on the occasion, he said that every human being has three stages in life in which youth is very crucial where they need to concentrate on their future with a goal and have to strive for achieving it.

He said building life is more important than knowing themselves as part of metaphysics. Youngsters have to build future in a systematic way with a plan on future, he said. The senior official also said that Swamy Vivekananda’s life is an encyclopedia in which every page is a guide for youngsters for deciding their way of life in a sincere way.

MLC Vakati Narayana Reddy, who participated in the programme, said that many traditions and customs are gradually vanishing in busy life and teenagers have to revive them with a strong dedication. They should develop an inclination towards a systematic way of life together with values. Now, parents are focusing on higher education coupled with technical skills, but they have to teach them good manners and human values for a broad understanding on sufferings of people, he said.

Chief Executive Officer of SETNEL Subrahmanyam said that National Youth Week celebrations are being held from Jan 12 to 16 across the country and they had conducted competitions for young people in Kavali, Gudur, Naidupet, Nellore and Atmakur divisions from November 2 to 9. The winners will participate at the State-level competitions in December, he said. Whil the national-level competitions will be held in Nayaraipur in Chhattisgarh from January 2 to 16, he said.

MEPMA Project Director Dr P Somaiah, BC Welfare Officer Sanjivarao, SC Corporation official Dr Koteswara Rao and others were present.
