Koilkuntla (Kurnool): A plan of action has been evolved to administer pulse polio drops to 5.52 lakh children in the age group of 0 to 5 in the district during the next phase of immunisation programme on January 17 and February 21, 2016.
Holding a meeting with staff of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) here on Friday, District Immunisation Officer R Venkataramana said 2,815 centres would be set up in Kurnool to administer polio drops to children. Emphasis was also laid on effective implementation of Mission Indradhanush in villages to protect infants from seven life-threatening diseases, he said.
