Tirupati: TTD executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday reviewed and inspected the arrangements for ‘Panchami Teertham’ which is scheduled for December 16.
He instructed the TTD Vigilance officials to coordinate with the police and make elaborate security arrangements for the big fete. The executive officer directed the officials concerned to streamline the pilgrim crowd, while sending them for the holy bath on Panchami.

Later, speaking to media persons, the executive officer said the auspicious time during Panchami is at 11.55 am. However the sanctity of holy waters remains for next three days. So, the pilgrims can have a leisure holy dip during these days. “We have also arranged annaprasadam distribution at three different centres to serve the pilgrims on the occasion", he added.

Later, Tirupati Urban Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetti said about 2,000 police personnel have been deployed for the Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor. "The engineering wing of TTD has set up various entry and exit points all around Pushkarini. In unison with the TTD vigilance, we will streamline the pilgrim crowd and see that no untoward incident take place during the celestial fete", he added.

Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, CVSO D Nagendra Kumar, Special Grade Deputy Executive Officer Chenchulakshmi and others were present.
