Technoesis 2015-16 a big hit

The Department of Electronics of Andhra Loyola College (ALC) organized a national level quiz, paper presentation and project expo titled ‘Technoesis – 2015-16’ for degree students on the college campus here on Monday.

M John Chrisostom, Senior General Manager (CM), BSNL, Vijayawada, participated as chief guest for the inaugural session. Addressing the students, John Chrisostom said that there are many good opportunities available for the students after completing graduation in electronics. He underlined the need for conducting more events like technoesis which will help the students to digest the practical knowledge which is more essential to nail jobs at industries in the competitive world.

Students from various colleges from Guntur, Krishna, West Godavari, East Godavari and other districts took part in the event and displayed their projects that include IOT and Big Data Analytics with mobile applications to build smart solutions. The topics for the paper presentation declared as Skinput Technology, Role of Electronics in ‘Make in India’ and 5G Wireless Technology.

Later in the evening, the organizers gave away prizes to the winners in the various events held as part of the expo. ALC principal Fr GAP Kishore, Rector Fr D Ravi Sekhar, correspondent Fr S. Raju, vice-principal, Fr S Melchoir, Electronics Head of the Department L Ekambaram and other staff were present.
