The Telangana Chief Minister accompanied by Finance Minister Etala Rajender and MP Balka Suman, arrived at Naidu’s house by a helicopter and N Chandrababu Naidu took a break from the two-day Collectors’ conference and accorded a warm welcome to his Telangana counterpart.

Vijayawada: For the first time after the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao flew down to Vijayawada to meet Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s river view residence on Monday and invited him to attend the Ayuta Chandi Yagam to be held from December 23. The Yagam will be performed at Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse at Erravalli village of Medak district.

After exchanging pleasantries, Chandrashekar Rao formally handed over the four-page invitation and briefed him about the yagam and requested him attend the holy ritual.

Naidu said to have told KCR that he would attend the event and felicitated the guests and offered a delicious lunch to the TS CM and his team. The chefs drawn from a local star hotel prepared both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for the delicious lunch.

The menu, according to the sources, included Natu Kodi (country chicken) pulusu, prawns fry and fish besides others in the non-vegetarian section.

They also served vegetarian dishes keeping in view Chandrashekar Rao’s vow due to the Yagam. It is said that Andhra’s ulavacharu (brown soup) biryani, atreyapuram putharekulu and gongura dishes. After the lunch, KCR left for Hyderabad along with Rajender and Suman.

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa were also present when Chandrashekar Rao visited Naidu’s house.
