He along with two other bikers was in the city on Tuesday after participating in the Fourth Eastern Hog Ride of Harley-Davidson Owners held at Kolkata between December 11 to 13.

Sharing his experiences to The Hans India, Shahil said, “Earlier I heard about the prominence of the city, but now I am excited after staying for a day. I just love riding for longer distances on my Harley Davidson Street Bob. Riding a super bike is not about speeding.

With safety as the priority we share the spirit of togetherness, leaving our routine professions. I started my journey from my home town on December 7. Meanwhile Jason and Vikram business men from Gulbarg, Karnataka, who are also the proud owners of Harley Davidson, joined the ride with me and we reached Kolkata by December 10, he said.

Shahil said, “We have traveled for about 500 to 600 kilometers per day to reach our destination and to participate in the event where the owners from across the country show-off the passion, creativity and inspiration they have put into their motorcycles. Every year the Harley-Davidson company conducts the events across the country to given an opportunity to the riders to be a part of the global community and to develop brotherhood among the Harley Owners,” he said.
