The women cell of Prasad V Poltluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, in association with Pidilite has organised a ‘Craft Arena’ workshop for students at its campus here on Wednesday.
Students turned in a large number in the workshop to learn the art forms designed with coffee powder, while some participants seemed amused by the fact that coffee powder could become a mode of expression, others seemed to be excited and anxious of what would be the end result.
P Adi Lakshmi, Professor & Head Department of Business Administration said that workshop was aimed at training women in Ganjila art, mask murals, coffee painting, tile painting, silk pouch, stencil work, pot painting and glass painting. Pidilite industries faculty Minaakshi said that art acts like a stress-buster in the busy mechanic life of the present.
