The YSRCP Congress Party MPs staged a dharna at the Gandhi statue on the premises of the Parliament today demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media, YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has demanded that the Central Government fulfil the special category status assured to the State post bifurcation.
He also asked the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to play an active role in achieving the special status.
