Kurnool: C Yaganteeswarappa has been unanimously elected district president of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV).
The new executive of JVV was announced by its national president V Brahma Reddy at the 14th district convention here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Yaganteeswarappa said he would strive to promote scientific attitude and rational thinking among people by expanding the activities of JVV in the district.
The JVV would set up village committees in all mandals to intensify its campaign against social evils, he said.
