The festival started with delightful ceremonial dance by noted dance master Ajay Kumar. Trimurthulu, an impressive dance ballet was presented by Manju Bhargavi with her disciples.

The ballet was based on the Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara who are known for “Sristi, Stithi and Laya” to run this universe. Majubhargavi excelled with her expressions. Mamakrishna Madhav, Vihita Kulkarni and Deepti were also proved their talent along with Majubhargavi in this ballet.

The next item was Saroja Vidyanathan’s "Sabari moksham”. Though the story of this ballet is popular, with her experience and competence she showcased the ballet with grip. Audience enjoyed the flavour of the Bharatanatyam.

The last part of the first-day dance festival was presented by Madhulita Mahapatra. She made spectators enthralled with her body moments and posture according to the music which was main component in Odissi dance forum. Manjubhargavi and Saroja Vidyanathan were felicitated by Vikaram goud, Academy founder.
