National Handloom Expo from tomorrow
The National Handloom Exhibition will be held at Krishna District Rice and Oil Millers Association Hall, Gandhi Nagar from December 27 to January 11.

The National Handloom Exhibition will be held at Krishna District Rice and Oil Millers Association Hall, Gandhi Nagar from December 27 to January 11. The announcement came from Assistant Director of State Handlooms and Textiles, DH Lakshman Rao on Friday.
Lakshmana Rao informed that the handloom exhibition was being organised by the Union Ministry of Textiles in association with the State Department of Handlooms. The fair would be inaugurated by minister for BC Welfare and Excise Kollu Ravindra at 10.00 am.
“Union Minister for Science Technology Y Sujana Chowdary and Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao will participate in the event,” said Rao. Handloom weavers from about 70 cooperative societies would be showcasing their products and sales amounting to Rs 5 crore at the event.
