BJP cadre celebrate Good Governance Day
The city unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the second ‘Good Governance Day’ to mark the 91st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Friday.

BJP leader and MLC Somu Veerraju, along with party city unit president Dr Umamaheswara Raju cut a cake and distributed sweets to the party cadre.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Sommu Veerraju hailed the visionary of the former prime minister to lead a stable and successful coalition including during the Emergency and made India into an N-power, and won the Kargil war.
He called upon the party cadre to campaign the welfare schemes in reach of poor and downtrodden taking inspiration from the great leader. Later, the party cadre distributed fruits, sweets and sarees to the poor.
Former MLA Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, minority morcha State president SK Mahaboob, Yuva Morcha vice-president Ch Rajinikanth, Parliament convener AV Ranga Rao and other leaders were present.
