Pilgrim dies as car overturns

A pilgrim of Bengaluru died and two others sustained severe injuries when a speeding Maruti car overturned at Basaladoddi village in the mandal on Saturday while they were returning from Mantralayam after having a darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
Peddakadabur (Kurnool): A pilgrim of Bengaluru died and two others sustained severe injuries when a speeding Maruti car overturned at Basaladoddi village in the mandal on Saturday while they were returning from Mantralayam after having a darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
According to police, Santhamma (55) died on the spot in the mishap. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital. A case was registered and investigation is on.
