Chirala (Prakasam): A polytechnic student allegedly committed suicide by hanging at his house at Benjipalem in the mandal on Saturday.
According to sources, Pavan Kumar (18) who was studying in a polytechnic at Avanigadda in Krishna district, came to his native village for Christmas holidays. The youth committed suicide when he was alone at home.
Love failure is said to be the reason for his extreme step. On hearing the news of student’s suicide, police visited the spot. A case has been registered. Investigation is on.
