A six-month road show which was flagged off from Schneider’s corporate office in Gurgaon concluded in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday

Schneider Electric has announced the successful completion of its ‘Energy and Automation Yatra’ in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. The specially outfitted truck reached out to eight prominent towns namely Sricity, Tirupathi, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajhamundry, Kakinada, and Vishakhapatnam, showcasing an array of smart solutions designed to serve the growing requirements of the manufacturing sector.

The six-month long road show was flagged off from Schneider Electric India’s corporate office in Gurgaon in the month of July with an aim to promote smart towns and smart villages. It has traversed across the length & breadth of the country till date and aims to cover approximately 95 Tier 2, 3 and 4 towns, including rural areas, with around 105 road show days and 75 town-to-town transit days.

The Energy and Automation Yatra campaign is in-line with Government of India’s Make in India & Digital India initiatives under which the nation can experience digitisation in electrical distribution as well as in industrial automation solutions. Through the road show, Schneider Electric India (SEI) is displaying its offerings in infrastructure, solar solutions, electrical grid distribution management & automation, low voltage distribution, industrial automation, intelligent building management and smart ups solutions.

Prem Rachakonda, regional director– Schneider Electric India, speaking about the initiative, said “The Digital India initiative and consequent adoption of technology across the country has boosted the demand for automation and smart solutions. The Energy and Automation Yatra focuses on bringing the latest innovations in technology to India’s hinterland and promises to give a fillip to the infrastructural and manufacturing ambitions of India.”
