AP Government has released a GO to construct Secretariat in the Capital region of Amaravati and passed the directives that stated Secretariat complex and other connected office buildings are to be built in the area of 20 acres.
Also, the GO reportedly directed that the construction of the Secretariat will be alloted Rs 180 crores and the construction work should be completed by June 30, 2016. The government on Tuesday intensified the shifting process of the State administration to the new capital Amaravati by permitting the CRDA to call for tenders for the construction in the office space of 6 lakh sq. ft spread over 20 acres.
CRDA has been sanctioned Rs.90 crore interest-free loan from the AP government on this regard while the capital authority will seek the remaining amount from the required loan from the HUDCO.
