MLA vows model housing colonies

Eluru: Government Whip and Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar assured that the government would construct model housing colonies for the poor in Denduluru constituency.
Prabhakar visited Kanakamahalakshmi Cooperative Bank branch at Satrampadu on Monday to attend ATM opening function.
On this occasion, the Whip requested Eluru MLA Badeti Bujji to arrange streetlighting to dividers in Satrampadu, who in turn directed municipal officials to arrange the lighting forthwith.
Prabhakar told newsmen that the government hatd sanctioned 1,250 houses to Denduluru constituency in the first phase and he would ask officials to construct model colonies for the poor in Chataparru of Eluru mandal, Somavarappad (Denduluru mandal) and Vatluru (Pedapadu mandal).
As there is a scarcity of land, he decided to give priority to the poor people who own sites. The Government Whip said in other places, the model houses would be constructed in G+2 model to provide housing to as many poor people as possible.
He said list of beneficiaries was being prepared and asked the Kanakamahalakshmi Bank to provide loan facility to the poor for housing.
