It makes different idols like Ayyappa, Venkateswara Swamy, Vinayakudu, Lakshmi Devi, Shirdi Sai Baba and Puttaparti Sai Baba with sweets.
This year the shop prepared Lord Buddha’s sweet idol, which has become the cynosure of all.
The five-foot idol weighing 58 kg was made using six varieties of sweets spread over five days to mark State capital Amaravati Buddha, shop-owners Bhavani and Gopinath said.
