In same breath, he said the dilly dallying approach of the Centre was tantamount to betrayal by the Narendra Modi government.

Speaking at the conclusion of the 50-day long Matti Satyagraha here on Wednesday, Reddy threatened to intensify agitation if the Centre does not act.
“Special status is our right. We are ready to extend our support if the Chief Minister is willing to exert pressure on the Centre to get special status,” he said.
The Congress would send the earth collected from 13 districts in the State to the Prime Minister as to register their protest against Centre’s “dilly dallying” approach.
Meanwhile, former Congress MP Chintha Mohan alleged that the public health and education sectors had taken a beating under the TDP regime in last 18 months.
Congress activists collected earth from Srivarimettu, the foot path leading to Tirumala and also from Chandragiri fort, marking the conclusion of Matti Satyagraham in Chandragiri on Wednesday.
