Special queue line for free darshan at temple

Mahanandi (Kurnool): A special queue line for free darshan will be set up at Mahanandiswara Swamy temple from New Year.

Executive Officer B Sankara Varaprasad said on Tuesday that pilgrims would be allowed into the temple through the door on the north side for free darshan, which was introduced at the shrine recently.

Holders of Rs 100 and Rs 30 darshan tickets would be allowed into the main temple from the west side from January 1.

Pilgrims who purchase Rs 200 darshan tickets, would be allowed into the sanctum sanctorum for Abhishekam, the EO said.
