Mahesh, Bunny took a liking to my ideas, says Vikram Kumar

Vikram Kumar, who is fast wrapping up his Tamil film Suriya-starrer ‘24’, remains mum over his next project. Rumors are rife that the director’s next Telugu feature will star either Mahesh Babu or Allu Arjun.
In fact, some reports even claimed that the filmmaker has already started the pre-production work of his next, with Allu Arjun.
“I’m currently working on Suriya’s film and my immediate agenda is to wrap it up,” said the director when Hans Talkies contacted him.
Admitting that his next project will indeed be in Telugu, Vikram, who made the blockbuster ‘Manam’ with Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, reveals, “I have approached Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun and have bounced different plot lines to them.
At a basic level, both the ideas have been approved but the projects are at a preliminary stage. I need to go back to them with concrete screenplay as there’s a lot of writing to be done.”
Did he start writing? “I’m in the process. Once it is done, and after giving them a narration, they will take the final call. So as of now, it’s premature to comment.”
