Chief Electoral officer Bhanwarlal visited Mahanandi temple along with his wife and offered prayers to Mahanandeeswara Swamy on Monday.
Nandyal: Chief Electoral officer Bhanwarlal visited Mahanandi temple along with his wife and offered prayers to Mahanandeeswara Swamy on Monday. He reached Mahanandi on Sunday night and stayed at AP Tourism guest house. Temple endowment officer Sankara Varaprasad, priests Ravisankar Avadhani, Durga Nageswara Swamy, Santharam Bhat, Jwala Chakravarthy welcomed him. After Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana, Bhanwarlal and his wife performed ‘Dhanwanthari Yagam’.
While speaking to the media, the CEO said that the enrolment for the voter identity card was commenced on January 16, 2015 and will be over by 11 of this month. He advised all the people above 18 years should enroll their names. After weeding out the bogus votes, new cards would be distributed on 25 of this month on the occasion of National Voters Day.
