Vasireddy Publications is reaching out to public and book readers in a unique way. The stall which deals with out of the box genre books is selling out a classic of 1962 titled `Judy-Lakshmi' for Rs 10.

The novel is a work of Britain woman Judy who penned her experiences of traditions, people, festivals and post independence era of the country. The book was published by National Book Trust which did not market the book. It was published in the year 1962 and the price was described of worth Re 1.50 paise.

When Vasireddy Venugopal came across the book at a book festival held at Hyderabad, he took interest in it and contacted the NBT for copies to be sold. He acquired as many as 85 books that were lying in NBT's godown and sold them all in a day for Rs 10.

Speaking to The Hans India, Venugopal says "I realised that creating interest among the book is important for it to be sold. I sold it for Rs 10 and they were hot cakes of that day. I called for the rest of 1500 books in their godown for this book festival in Vijayawada. Within three days, about 250 copies were sold".

Venugopal who realised that people are taking interest in the book added a few of their collections from Children literature to the Rs 10 for one. His stall, besides being placed in the corner is abuzz now.

Also, he is encouraging visitors at the stall to write a small essay on 'Relationship with Father' and ' How capital city Amaravati should be?'. He is giving away a book to the participants as appreciation of their efforts.

Their innovations did not just stop by reaching out to public in a different way but they are probably the first publishers who designed and released video promos of their books. There are books from genres like poetry, fiction, moral books and many more.
