J Akshit Kumar of Global Chess Academy has bagged a bronze medal in 5th National School Chess championship organised by All India Chess Federation in U- 13 open category at Nagpur.
Global chess Academy Secretary SK Khasim on Friday said that a total of 733 players from different schools participated in the tournament. J Akshit Kumar has achieved the fete by scoring 7 points out of 9 and secured third position, he said.
Global Chess Academy President K Rajendra congratulated Akshit for bringing laurels to the academy and the city.
