Jr lifters sweat it out for Nationals
A team comprising of Weight Lifting and Power Lifting champions from the colleges affiliated to Krishna University are all set to take part in the All India inter University Championships for men and women in respective event.
A team comprising of Weight Lifting and Power Lifting champions from the colleges affiliated to Krishna University are all set to take part in the All India inter University Championships for men and women in respective event. The team was offered coaching for the championship at Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana (KBN) College in the city.
In a release to the media, principal of the College P Krishnamurthy said that the team who are representing Krishna University were trained extensively for the Championship that is going to be held at Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), in Guntur.
Physical director of the KBN D Hemachandra Rao, who is going to manage team at the championship, has supervised the training programme. The management and the sports department congratulated the candidates and wished them best of luck at the upcoming championship.
