Sankranti Sambaralu begins amid gusto

Women and Child Welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha inaugurated Sankranti Sambaralu at Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday. Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao (Bujji) presided over the inaugural meeting. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister greeted the district people on the eve of Bogi and Sankranti.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister greeted the district people on the eve of Bogi and Sankranti.
She said Sankranti festival was the mirror of the Telugu people’s tradition and culture.
She said the government had allotted Rs one crore to each district for Sankranti Sambaralu.
