Blood donated on NTR death anniversary
TDP district unit president G V Anjeneyulu along with TDP leaders garlanded the statue of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao at the party office on the occasion of his 20th death anniversary on Monday.
Guntur: TDP district unit president G V Anjeneyulu along with TDP leaders garlanded the statue of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao at the party office on the occasion of his 20th death anniversary on Monday.
He also donated blood at the blood donation camp organised by the party and spoke on the occasion. He described Rama Rao as a legend who contributed greatly to constructive politics and to the unity of opposition leaders in the country.
He gave political life to ordinary party workers by making them MLAs, MPs and Ministers in his cabinet. His contribution to the State politics and national politics would be remembered forever. The death anniversary was observed throughout the district at the party offices. Local MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy also spoke.
