Rama Ravana Yuddham, a mythological play , staged on Tuesday, the second day of the theatre festival Nandi Natakotsavalu left the audience spell bound.
Tirupati: Rama Ravana Yuddham, a mythological play , staged on Tuesday, the second day of the theatre festival Nandi Natakotsavalu left the audience spell bound.
The drama based on Ramayana which began with Anajaneya’s search for Sita Devi and ended with the Ravana Vadha (killing of the demon king) by Rama in the epic battle and the emotional dialogues between Rama and Hanuman virtually gripped
the audience.
The mythological drama ended with a message that it was Dharma which alone will stand forever. Ravinuthala based Sri Prasannajaneya Mandali which produced the Padya Natakam, deploying latest techniques made the drama more enchanting. P Anjaneyulu was the director while SV Rajarajeswara Sarma was the writer.
The social play Bathuku Natakam based on the theme of a creative artist proves that a determined person with commitment can change the society for better.
