Naidu meets CEOs of Airbus, Lockheed
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with Airbus Chief Executive Officer FabriceBrégier, and extended invitation to visit the State to expore investment opportunities. The Chief Minister said that Andhra Pradesh hosts India’s satellite launching station in Nellore district.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with Airbus Chief Executive Officer FabriceBrégier, and extended invitation to visit the State to expore investment opportunities. The Chief Minister said that Andhra Pradesh hosts India’s satellite launching station in Nellore district.
“We have some positive ecosystem for space and defence industry in the state. In this regard, we have begun to create necessary infrastructure in Anantapur, closer to Bengaluru,” he added. Responding to the invitation extended, Brégier said that the Airbus is committed to make an investment in India, and he would soon visit Andhra Pradesh to explore possibilities of making investments in the State.
Naidu explaining the investor-friendly policies the government offers, he said that the State had achieved second rank in India for ease of doing business in World Bank Rankings. The Chief Minister also extended a similar invitation to Lockheed Martin to setup a manufacturing plant in the State.
