Dry weather to prevail in north coastal AP

Hyderabad: Rain occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Narsapur and Amalapuram recorded one cm of rainfall each, while the minimum temperatures markedly fell at one or two places in coastal districts.

The temperatures were markedly above normal at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and appreciably above normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema. The Met office forecast rain or thundershowers at one or two places in Rayalaseema and south coastal Andhra Pradesh on January 23 and 24. However, dry weather is most likely to prevail in north coastal Andhra Pradesh.
