Nellore/Hyderabad: The TDP Ministers on Friday came out all guns blazing to hit out at Opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who alleged that the TDP was foisting false cases against YSRCP legislators. Both Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishna Murthy and Information and Public Relations Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy asserted that the State government and the TDP had nothing to do with cases against YSCRP legislators Mithun Reddy and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

While suggesting the YSCRP leader not to resort to mudslinging against TDP, Krishna Murthy in a news conference in Nellore said that the case against Rajampeta MLA Bhaskar Reddy was filed as per the directions of the Union government against Reddy for damaging railway property during Samaikyandhra movement. “We will not spare baseless allegations. Get your facts right. Don’t cross limits,” he said directly to YSRCP chief.

Meanwhile, IT Minister Raghunatha Reddy also came down heavily on the YSRCP for making ‘baseless’ allegations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh. While accusing Jagan Mohan Reddy of ‘promoting lawlessness’ in the State, the Minister in a news conference in Hyderabad alleged that as many as 9,201 false cases were booked against TDP supporters during YS Rajasekhara Reddy regime. “There is no moral ground for YSRCP to criticise TDP,” he lashed out.
