Shri Rai also a graduate from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He Joined Indian Postal Service in 1984. Besides holding various appointments in Department of Posts, Shri Rai has also served in Army and Central Government in various capacities.
Prior to joining as Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle, Shri Rai worked as Chief Postmaster General, Chhattisgarh Postal Circle.
