Kakinada MP ready to mediate with Mudragada
Member of Lok Sabha and TDP Parliamentary Party leader Thota Venkata Narasimham expressed his willingness to mediate with Muderagada on quota issue to Kapus if the party leadership seeks his services.

The MP also made it clear that the reservation process cannot be completed overnight as several issues are to be taken into consideration in finalising the sensitive issue. He also said that only the TDP government has constituted a corporation for Kapus on par with SC, BC and ST corporations for the first time.
Speaking to media persons at his camp office on Wednesday, Thota said that Mudragada should realise the ground realities in this aspect as the TDP government is committed to the welfare of Kapus.
He said that after the division of the State, fresh data has to be collected on the population of Kapus in the 13 districts which includes the existing reservations being extended to Toorpu Kapus and Munnuru Kapus.
Thota did not agree with Mudragada’s claim that the TDP government took up process of reservation post his agitation and said that the TDP or its cadre has nothing to do with the so-called insult to Mudragada’s wife as alleged by him.
Narasimham said that there were so many leaders who were near the dais at Garjana in Tuni to take credit as champions of Kapus but were treated shabbily by Miudragada’s who failed to invite them to speak.
Thota also revealed that the Congress during its tenure never made any attempt to provide reservations for Kapus even though served as a Minister the State Cabinet during that period. However, TDP Parliamentary party leader refused to comment on the proposed indefinite fast of Kapunadu leader from Friday onwards.
