Ongole: The trustees of Jwalamukhi temple at Pellur village announced that they are organising Sata Chandiyagam for the welfare and prosperity of the world from February 13 on the temple premises.

Godasa Prasada Swamy, the temple priest and Madanuru Mallikharjuna Gurukula, the chief priest for the yagam said, “We wanted to conduct Sata Chandiyagam for the welfare of human beings. The yagam will be conducted for five days from February 13 to 17. Special archanas, vratams and cultural activities will be conducted for five days as part of the yagam. The purnahuti will be on Wednesday followed by distribution of anna prasadam to devotees. As it is said to be auspicious and gives prosperity to the families of devotees who witness the purnahuti and take the anna prasadam, we request all devotees to come and get blessings of the deity.”
