AP Assembly session to begin from March 5
The 2016-17 budget session for Andhra Pradesh will be introduced in the Assembly on March 12 followed by the Agriculture Budget on March 15. The Assembly session is scheduled to begin from March 5 onwards.

While the Finance Department is working towards the 2016-17 budget, the AP government has taken up the preparations for the 2016-17 budget. Earlier, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu held a review meeting at the Secretariat with the Finance, Planning and other department officials where he directed the officials to study the expenditure incurred by the departments so far. The allocations to various departments in the budget in the current fiscal was also decided in the meeting.
The officials were advised to prepare the budget that enhances the government's credibility and the draft would be submitted to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his approval.
