Scores of business administration students thronged the campus of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College where, ‘Kurukshetra-2016’, a cultural and literary fest was held here on Tuesday.

Scores of business administration students thronged the campus of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College where, ‘Kurukshetra-2016’, a cultural and literary fest was held here on Tuesday. The Business management department made elaborate arrangements to ensure that the students had a great experience participating in various literary competitions.

Chief Operations Officer of the KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited G Venkateswara Rao inaugurated the event and advised management students to acquire more communication skills besides technical knowledge and command over languages that are globally acknowledged. With interactive skills, intelligence and commitment, anybody can achieve their target provided if they work hard, he said.

Competitions titled, Akshaya Prasna (Business Quiz), Padma Vyuh (Young Manager), Maya Sabha (Stock Market Simulation), Creative Pandavas (Market Makers),Kaliya Mardhana (HR event), Nartanasala (cultural competition), Pravachana (Presentations), Srujana (Creative round) were organised for the students.

From academic presentations to producing a short film on current issues, students were given an opportunity to showcase their talents. Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu, Convener PG Centre C Dutt spoke on the inaugural event. Director of PG Centre K Krishna Murthy, Head of the department of MBA Rajesh C Jampala, Staff and faculty of the department were present.
